"Uncovered China" unveils a selection of contemporary artists supported by ifa gallery since its founding in Shanghai eight years ago until its  move to Brussels in the winter of 2013. The Gao Brothers, Dai Guangyu, Fan Jiupeng, Zane Mellupe, Wu Junyong, Christophe Demaître are some of the Chinese or international artists working in China discovered by the gallery. "Uncovered China" is an exhibition centered on the concept of nudity in contemporary Chinese art: men and women’s nudity (only officially accepted in art since 1985) is not only used to better reveal the power relations within society yet also the unique relation with intimacy as particular to China.
