Collection World Expo

Initially Sui Jianguo found a beautiful small stone on the building site of World Expo, and expanded it, using the honeycomb netting structure to create a massive hill. By revisiting the landscape in a contemporary way and renewing both the material and the surface treatment of the work, the artist is improving a perspective of a new type. The use of new technology refers to the reality of the landscape as something completely generic like an icon of after-modern times.
