Born in Denmark and grew up in the US.

As a world traveler, has spent extensive periods of time living in many places including the US, Canada, Mexico, Italy, Denmark, France, Indonesia, Japan, Morocco, India and China.

As an artist, has published 40 plus picture books. Artwork has appeared in numerous international publications including:
