The twocities gallery is proud to present "Glass Serendipity", the first solo exhibition of emerging glass artist Wang Qin. This exhibition showcases a body of work built up from the past five years.
 
Wang Qin interprets the tradition and style of Chinese calligraphy and ink painting through the medium of glass. His works are Zen-like, communicating an adherence to Chinese traditional culture and pursuit of the spiritual. His "Calligraphy or Not?" and "Summer Sitting" series depict his passion for Chinese calligraphy and culture. The simplicity of his black and white palette on a canvas of clear glass exudes serenity and purity of heart. All works are formed by the casting method.
