Group exhibition featuring young lacquer artists: Zhong Sheng, Xie Zhen, Jin Hui, Kou Yan, Wang Jin, Li Mingqian, Hu Xiushu, Xie Fang and Xu Jin.

Artists in this exhibit push the boundaries of lacquer art beyond what is formerly known of the tradition. Exhibited works range from raw abstractions in lacquer painting to refined functional wares. Despite differences in form, each piece is an exploration of the material, an eloquent exercise in post-modern craft art expression.
