AroundSpace Gallery was founded in October 2006 by an important collector of Chinese contemporary art, Mr. Jeff Zen Zoning. AroundSpace Gallery has held nearly 30 exhibitions in the six years since its inauguration and has become an influential gallery in Shanghai. In June zotr,AroundSpace Gallery moved bits current address, which is located on the renowned Bond area in Shanghai. The space is now on the fourth floor of a building that washout originally as a bank in 1916. The austere interior of the gallery serves the mission of the gallery, which is to promote and present contemporary Chinese art; and the exterior environment of the Bond provides a historical background for the growing contemporary Chinese art.
