As we all know, growing is the process of being mature. It is not the destination to be mature, but a coordinate or a vane. ShanghART gallery was initiated in 1996 for 15 years till now. Meanwhile, SWFC enters its 3rd anniversary in October 2011. With the warm invitation from SWFC, ShanghART gallery is so honored to present the exhibition GROWING UP to celebrate both anniversaries. Through 15 years development of ShanghART gallery, the exhibition GROWING UP presents the selected major art works from dozens of Chinese contemporary artists with great influence to Chinese contemporary art development. With various ideas and media, it becomes pieces to show the growing of Chinese contemporary art and artists in generations.
