ShanghART gallery is pleased to present a summer group show from Jul.15 to Aug.30. The works in this exhibition are oil on canvas, acrylic on canvas, ink on paper, integrated installation and others come from artists and art teams included BIRD HEAD, DING Yi, HUANG Kui, JIN Weihong, LIU Weijian, PU Jie, SHEN Fan, SUN Xun, TANG Guo, WEI Guangqing,  WU Yiming,  ZHOU Tiehai etc.
 
The photography collective Bird head recently came back from la Biennale di Venezia. The collective’s oeuvre consists of videos and photographs of everyday life in their native city. The snapshot aesthetic of their extensive and accumulative photo-series, shot in black and white as well as color, deliver a subjective take on contemporary urban reality in China. Their 2007 photographic work Birdhead's city, birdhead's jeep will be displayed in this summer group show.
