Floriane de Lassee takes her large format camera to roof tops of Beijing, where she captures the amblance of the city. Her new series unveils the new face of the Chinese capital, an ultra modern city, claiming her position amongs the largest cities in the world.
The horizontal city turns into a vertical one amind an array of lights, in which the old areas are transformed into modern districts with thriving towers. Floriane de Lassee depicts the city by night, where texture and light patterns visualizes in the photographs, strengthened by vibrant colours, revealing their depth and mystery.
Born in Paris, Florence de Lassee was graduated from Penninghen/ ESAG (Paris) and from Interneational Center of Photography (NYC). Her Inside Views have already been exhibited in Paris, Moscow, New York, Bruxelles and Beijing.
