TAGBOAT Award is a contemporary art accolade for talented emerging artists chosen from a large number of entries by leading galleries, art critics and artists. Calvin Hui, Founder and Artistic Director of 3812 was honoured as the judge of The 6th TAGBOAT Award, Tokyo 2011 sharing the panel with Tomio Koyama, Harukiyo Fujimoto and Tetsuji Shibayama.

After the award presentation and exhibition in Tokyo, 3812 will host The 6th TAGBOAT Award Winners Exhibition in Hong Kong, for the very first time. The exhibition will feature the awarded works of zico (Koji Yamamoto), Akihiro Funahashi, Mayako Fujimoto, Ikue Shirosaki, Yasuhiko Sawada, and Mitsuru Nishimura. Collectors in Hong Kong will have the priority to see and collect the awarded young artists' work.
