See-Through is monthly programme in which artists are invited to stay inside the windows of Woofer Ten at Shanghai Street for a day and explore the possibilities of live interaction with the neighbourhood community.

Collection: Discarded Memoir

In her on-going performance, Magdalen Wong will collect discarded items along Shanghai Street, a previously prosperous area now known for its brothels and nightclubs along with its vibrant "tong-lau" – a balcony-type tenement building – with shops selling a great variety of stuff, from elaborate kitchen wear to fancy wedding gowns.  Collected items will then be arranged and shown in the window display of Woofer Ten in Shanghai Street Artspace. As the weeks go by, the collection will accumulate into a display of social-geographical items that identify with that specific area.
