Schoeni Art Gallery holds Yang Yong Liang's second solo exhibition, entitled Moonlit Metropolis, coinciding with the Hong Kong ArtWalk 2013, and continuing until May 2013. The show will comprise of the artist's latest works in which he continues to reflect on the effects of urbanization and modernisation in modern China.

Reknown for his mountainous compositions reminscent of Song Dynasty landscape paintings and the multiple layering of urban elements, Yang Yong Liang raise questions on the dilemma of progressive social development and cultural preservation and are windows to his own perception and self-exploration.
