Yoshizawa Tomomi, who depicts girl's emotion with detailed brush-touch, will hold the solo exhibition at Keumsan Gallery. After graduated from Tokyo University of Arts, she has received a great attention through her art world expressing girls crossing a boundary between reality and unreality with aerial colors. In this exhibition, 20 paintings including new works will be on display.
In this exhibition, she shows the different world with previous exhibition in 2009. Rather than seeking primitive existence, she emphasizes harmonized contrasting things. Unrealistically beautiful children, finely depicted flower and floral leaves, and butterfly or ribbon create a pretty scene but children's face expressions and motifs become a medium giving disharmony so that they make the audience muse on the art works.
The artist thinks that even though there are contrasting factors but they are derived from one existence. Thus, her art work composes the world pursuing harmonization and amalgamation.
