Based in Denmark, Per Adolfsen's acrylic on canvas paintings have been shown all over the world. Featured to great success at Sh Contemporary art fair and Art HK in 2010, ART MIAMI, Art Contemporary LA and last year in New York, this solo showing of works titled “The Imaginary Eden of Mr. Adolfsen” will be held as a private exhibition at ART LABOR 2.0 in Shanghai from May 14 - June 18. 2011.

By revitalizing a long Scandinavian tradition of landscape painting, his art is considered by many to be one of the best examples of the new contemporary Nordic art scene. Per Adolfsen is reinventing a true and spirited expression of Nordic painting. His large scale, colorful scenes lead the viewer into mysterious and fairytale like environments.
