Ayumu Fushiguro was born in 1977 and graduated from BA Print Course of Tama University of Arts in 2003. Although the artist does not hesitate to change his style of painting, he sticks with the oil paint as the medium. Fushiguro enjoys painting at the same time discovering of globs, drops and unexpected traces of the oil paint then turn these features into the body of his shadow picture like works flooded with colors.

His latest solo exhibition "bird is watching you" is starting up at MEGUMI OGITA GALLERY from 13 December with a theme of "night".

Fushiguro paints motifs that he met during his daily night walk, such as mystified-look birds, plants, empty cages, pavements, gates as luminous elements in the darkness of the night. Each them reflect the flashing colors and as a whole it creates a cosmic feeling that plays a beautiful harmony to cereblate the all existences in the night.
