Christian Pendelio and Eric Chomis are full of stories to tell, and they do so beautifully and in harmony through the joint display of their works. Because they share a friendship together with several similarities, it is also no wonder that their works exude a common thematic bliss. While Pendelio introduces detailed characters with large, almond-shaped eyes and dreamy smiles against often colorful and imaginary backdrops, Chomis depicts multiple stories on one canvas, all happening at the same time on a shared landscape.
As we bring you the perfect combination of these two master storytellers from France, we sincerely hope the Childhood Tales told by them will reawaken the child in every one of you.
Christian Pendelio is most famous for turning his canvas into an enchanting and playful world of fairy tale and fantasy. The self-taught French artist started his artistic career in comic strip and watercolour. The whimsical touch he gives to his paintings is inspired by his passion for life and his faith in love.
Eric Chomis graduated from Lyon University and the School of Fine Art, and was discovered in 1991. His works have been regularly exhibited throughout France and Europe, and are usually influenced by the streets of Lyon and architecture. His paintings act as the graphic link to his reality and moments in his life, and the landmark of a real imaginary adventure.
