Celebrating the season for love, Asia Art Collective presents 'Romantic Expressions' – a debut of the talented artist Fan Shao Hua's new series of ink and mixed media on paper paintings. Inspired by both Eastern and Western painting traditions, Fan's art strikes boldly of an Abstract Expressionist style with the elegant, relaxed form of Xieyi. The interplay of pure colour and wild brushwork gives an illusion of space and depth, as if the purity and beauty of the lotus is emerging from chaos in all its splendor.
