Gallery LINART presents the first solo exhibition of Murat Kösemen, who created his works using play dough and plastiline. So far the artist has participated in group exhibitions in Leipzig, Lyon and Beijing.

Having studied at Hochschule und Buchkunst Graphics in Leipzig, and participated in group exhibitions in Leipzig, Lyon and Beijing, Murat Kösemen is having his first solo exhibition in Turkey at Gallery LiNART! Inspired by everyday life Kösemen, in his works at "Volume 1", features buildings, life in cafes, classic cars and local communities in summer places. The artist, in his exhibition consisting of 12 works, introduces art lovers to what he wants to tell only using the wide colour stains in a simple language without referring to light or shadow games and details. 

Stating that life is like a game and his purpose is to play a game, the artist expresses that it is only the art that provides the most efficient, the widest area for that. Leaving him as free as possible in this area, Kösemen means that this freedom increases productivity, and makes the game more enjoyable.

The artist, who used play dough and plastiline in the works of his exhibition titled "Volume 1", eliminates the dimension features by reducing this material to two dimensions, which was usually used in three-dimensions, and bringing only the colour features to the front. This method which makes his works possible without using any paint, surprises the audience by leaving them alone with this material used in an uncommon way...
