Joyce Gallery and 3812 Contemporary Arts Project presents a solo exhibition by Xiang Yang. The artist is best known for his installation constructed by using embroidery threads. The new work featured in this exhibition synthesizes the traditions of China: philosophy, ambiance, art and craft, with a new range of material, form and critical though encountered in contemporary Western art practice. After this Beijing Show, Joyce Gallery and 3812 will join hands to host a returning exhibition for the artist in Hong Kong 2013.
