As the only Thailand-based gallery participating in the inaugural Art Basel in Asia, 100 Tonson Gallery will present paintings, sculptures, photographs and various medium artwork from Thailand's most renowned contemporary artists, including Chatchai Puipia, Pinaree Sanpitak, Prateep Suthathongthai, Sakarin Krue-on and Yuree Kensaku.
Sakarin Krue-on's a set of sculpture, inspired by the pack of stray dogs that rummage round his neighbourhood, and Chatchai Puipia’s still life paintings, link between art history and contemporary art, will be exhibited. They are the transformation of the western painting into oriental coloration of Red Black and Gold also links the two frontiers. Pinaree Sanpitak will also show her drawings and large painting as well as Prateep Suthathong and Yuree Kensaku’s new series.
