New Ink - An Exhibition Of Ink Art By Post 1970 Artists From The Yiqingzhai Collection provides a revealing opportunity to explore the works of a younger generation of artists – a generation that is yet to be fully explored and surveyed. Encompassing works by 16 artists including (from China) Cai Jinwei, Hao Liang, Lin Guocheng, Peng Jian, Peng Wei, Xiao Xu, Yang Yongliang, Zeng Guoqing and (from Hong Kong) Cheuk Ka Wai, Koon Wai Bong, Law Yuk Mui, Leung Ka-Yin Joe, Shieh Ka Ho Wilson, Wai Pongyu, Wong Chung Yu, Wong Yee Ki, who were born after 1970, the selection exploits ink as a medium, using it as a source of inspiration or as a channel to communicate with the past while at the same time showing evolutionary change.
