Japan Creative Centre and Ikebana International Singapore Chapter 135 are proud to present the exhibition: “Seasonal Inspirations” which will be featuring Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement and paintings by Singaporean artist Jennifer Liao. This exhibition pays special homage to the stunning yet transient beauty of Japan’s four seasons and the wonders of nature’s creations. We invite you to join us for a visual extravaganza!

Jennifer Liao began her creative journey as an artist in 2004 at the Singapore Island Country Club, where she studied painting with Mr. Tan Khim Ser, President of Life Art Society. Her contemporary paintings are characterized by a delightful combination of color and movement, expressing an opportunity to reflect on who and where we are, and the reality of it. Jennifer has described her way of beginning a painting as “making a start somewhere and then seeing what happens through the sustained act of painting.” Rarely pre-determined, her paintings culminate in works that trace the process of discovery itself.
