Lau Hok Shing, Hanison graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from the Royal Melbourne Institue of Technology University (Co-presented with Hong Kong Art School) in 2005 and 2007 respectively. Lau has participated in numerous exhibitions since 2003, three of which were his solo exhibitions held in 2006 and 2008. In 2007, Lau was selected for the Artist in residence project in Portland, United States. Lau was also selected twice in 2004 and 2005 for the “Philippe Charriol Art Foundation Art Competition.”
