Gallery Lux is pleased to announce the solo exhibition of Jong Dae Jeon. He has photographed teenagers.
A photo of boys is straightforward. Without any techniques, it focuses on revealing an essence of a subject. Teens in photos have a static face, but their eyes bring comfort. Their innocent and curious eyes are reflected on a mat photographic paper.
Girls in the photo take a photo sticker to leave memories with friends. The artists rearranged photo stickers in a way of wallpaper after collecting, and printed them out. On a process, his touching was excluded. These outputs form a pattern which gives decorative effect.
Portraits of girls an boys will make us look back our old memories.
