Primitive [ in order ]
by Yoshimi Arts
Location: Yoshimi Arts
Date: 27 Feb - 18 Mar 2012

In modern times, the world has developed on the basis of the progressivism that human beings continue to evolve by evolution of technology. There are people, who believe that the development of science is useful for human beings, and there are people engaged in it; the devotion to the evolution does not stop.

But it is also necessary to judge whether evolution is useful or not, and to sound the alarm. In pre-modern times, when considering the society, we might value not to think that human beings continue to evolve but to go back to history and classics.

After the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, the thought that needs to go back to the origin of human beings and the evolution myth of human beings against it, they are complicated now. We hope this exhibition will give an opportunity to feel your own primitiveness. The works of the artists expressing the feeling of the human being, which is hard to change into language, will be exhibited.
