Matt Carols (b.1965) is an American artist from New Canaan who works in painting, ceramics, Graphic Design, digital graphics and photography. He has sour relationships with many galleries because of an alleged lack of punctuality, capricious correspondence skills, a quick temper, a history of alcoholism and several accusations against him of flagrant Francophobia. A renowned gallery owner wrote, “…Carols’ blazing perfectionism would be an excellent attribute if it wasn’t coupled with such constant hate.”
