In response to the recent disasters that have struck Japan, seventeen artists from Vietnam as well as the international community have contributed artworks to raise money for Red Cross Japan. These artworks, comprising various media including painting, draw- ing, installation, photo and video, will be shown in the exhibition “Tohoku no Tomodachi (Friends of Tohoku): Art Fundraiser for Japan,” organized by Tiffany Chung and Pamela Corey in collaboration with Galerie Quynh. From April 15 -29, works by this group of artists will be available for purchase (with prices ranging from US$300 to US$10,000) and 100% of proceeds from sales will go to Red Cross Japan.
In conjunction with the exhibition at Galerie Quynh, there will also be original creations by fashion designers Chương Đạng (Vietnam) and Chương Phạm (Vietnam/USA) available for sale at the gallery, from which all profits will be donated to Red Cross Japan.
