At Booth 1B20, Gallery EXIT will present recent works by Chen Wei, Chihoi, Makoto Fujimura, Chris Huen Sin Kan, Kong Chun Hei, Kwan Sheung Chi + Wong Wai Yin, Gabriel Leung, Lin Xue, Christine Ng Mien Yin, Lulu Ngie, Angela Su, Tang Kwok Hin and Yang Xinguang.

Yang Xinguang’s installation Blue will be featured in Encounters at E13. The work is a set of 13 sculptures formed by crushing of aluminum zinc coated corrugated iron sheets. In its sharp and irremediable finishing, Blue can be seen as challenging the perception of stability. As described by the artist, this sense of instability or vulnerability is nature’s latent brutal force. This incontrollable fierceness is always in place though it is impossible to distinguish.

Kwan Sheung Chi’s video work doing it with Chi… making pepper spray will be featured in Film. Screenings take place in the agnès b. cinema at the Hong Kong Arts Centre. In this cookery show-like video, the artist and his wife cum frequent collaborator Wong  Wai Yin demonstrate how to make pepper spray - a mechanism for self-defense / weapon.
