Born in Hengyang City, Hunan Province in 1979.  Yan studied traditional Chinese painting and oil painting since childhood.  He graduated from Hunan University with a degree in artistic design. Currently he is a professional photographer for advertising companies, actors and singers, magazines...etc. His works have already won over 70 awards in different photograph competitions in China, Ukraine, Australia, France, Belgium, Hong Kong, and Macao...etc.
