Over the course of three weeks Soda_Jerk will perform three multi-channel live video essays that each address different fields of research.
Terror Nullius (2014) excavates the true horror at the heart of Australian film mythologies, while The Carousel (2011) approaches cinema as a burial crypt where we collectively commune with the dead. The third video lecture performance, Netsploits (2014), rewires a matrix of samples from cyber films to construct a counter-history of internet antiheroes.
Soda_Jerk is an Australian two-person art collective from Sydney.
