Bangkok University Gallery presents "Illustration of the Crisis", an exhibition by Thai artist Natee Utarit, who achieved worldwide recognition as an international artist. The gallery has been honored to present these private collections in Thailand at first glance, next from the last shows in Switzerland, Singapore, the Philippines and Germany. All the artworks have been lent by the collections in Europe and Southeast Asia.

Natee Utarit conveys his passion of traditional painting onto canvases. He then questions to any alterations among a crisis by using a symbolic narration through toys and plastic figurines which are surrounded by unidentified imaginary dreamscapes.

Natee Utarit was born in 1970 and graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the faculty of Painting, Sculpture and Graphics at Silpakorn University. His artworks have been exhibited in both Asia and Europe. In 2003, he exhibited Still Pictures at Plum Blossoms Gallery in Singapore. In 2006, The Fragment and the Sublime at Valentine Willie Fine Art, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In 2007, The Amusement of Dreams, Hope and Perfection, at The Art Center, Center of Academic Resources, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok. In 2008, Transparency Happiness at Soka Art Center, Beijing, China. In 2010, Beacons of Archipelago at Arario Gallery, Cheonan, Korea. In 2011, Future Pass - From Asia to the World Collateral Event of the 54th International Art Exhibition - la Biennale di Venezia, Palazzo Mangilli-Valmarana, Venice, Italy, etc.
