This exhibition showcases the representative works of Liu Wen-long from 1999 to 2008. His landscape paintings, regardless of size, vividly capture the magnificence of natural landscape of towering mountains and rugged rocks. His works are distinguished from traditional landscape paintings for their unique composition and perspective. Some of his works depict close-range details of the landscape while the others provide a breathtaking panoramic view. Although taking an approach similar to traditional literati painting, Liu still ardently adheres to his own style. His artistic view is both profound and touching.
