Photography Will Be
Artist(s): Yuki KIMURA, Naoya HATAKEYAMA
Date: 1 Aug - 28 Sep 2014

The Photograph has conventionally referred to those images that have been captured by the camera and printed on paper. However, with the innovation of digital technology, the environment surrounding the photograph has been rapidly changing. It can be said that, in terms of specific technology, the contours of “Photography” have been vanishing within the digital revolution. Also, in the field of contemporary art, many artists are creating their work by freely selecting a number of forms, including, photography, film, and sculpture. From an awareness of such present circumstances, this exhibition investigates our relationship to the photograph and the image. Through the explorations of nine photographers and artists, the future state of photography may develop.
