For the first exhibition of this year, Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art is pleased to present 'A day with Nam June Paik.' Nam June Paik used a television to an art form for the first time in the world and created video art, recording, composing and editing the images.
Through these works, he made thing in a distance communicate and the audience participate in the artwork so that opens sharing art with all together. Thus, people in the world respect his as the most creative and innovative artist after Marcel Duchamp.
The exhibition 'A day with Nam June Paik' introduces his life and art world. It features robot video installation, satellite video art and painting as well as photographs of his works and performances by Manfred Montwe and Young Gyun Im.
