Gyeonggi MoMA hosts '2009 Cross-genre exhibition <Fashion Ethis- "Wear Good">. Cross-genre exhibition is one of the annual exhibitions by Gyeonggi MoMA instigating expansion of art field and interdisciplinary effects through adjacent exhibitions on visual art. Following last year's architecture exhibition, we now shift our focus to fashion this year.
<Fashion Ethics- "Wear Good"> invites domestic and overseas fashion designers and artists who are practicing ethical fashion based on their primary interests in eco-friendly fabrics, recycling, fair trade, and even ethnic costumes. Through this exhibitions, in search of a new standard of value o nour fashion life as well as new paradigm for costume aesthetics, we hope to acknowledge the epistemological significance of fashion and its relation with visual art culture.
