Born in Kyoto City in 1933, Atsushi Uemura finds the originality of East Asia in the bird and flower expression in Japanese-style painting (nihonga), consistently continuing to pursue it from the 1950s until the present. From 60 works from Uemura Atsushi's early years to his recent production, the exhibition will extensively introduce the significance of his imprint and creation.
