The 3rd Edition of Art Apart Fair 2014 is seeking emerging and mid-career artists from around the world to be part of this exclusive hotel art fair, held in Singapore
Art Apart Fair 2014 follows the successful launch of the “Apart Fair Series” in January and July 2013, which were the first-two-ever hotel art fairs to be held in Singapore. Rosalind Lim, organiser of the fair, says, “We were really proud of the great response from both artists and art lovers all over Asia during the past two art fairs, and we hope to see this again for Art Apart Fair 2014. Our key focus this time is the theme ‘The Artists’ Garden”, focusing on converting the 2,000 sq ft presidential suite into a gardenscape of more than 100 curated artworks by participating artists from 10 culture-rich countries namely China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, Russia, , Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia and including host country Singapore.
The exhibitor Dr Pwee Kheng Hock of Utterly Art adds, “Not only did I meet several new clients during the Art Apart Fair 2013, many of them followed up with visits to my gallery and purchases totaling some 15 art works in all. The novel and picturesque hotel setting and unusual display options make for a lively and memorable experience.”
We will see 12 returning exhibitors with new artworks in January 2014 and there are also new exhibitors from Russia, Korea and Singapore. Mid Career emerging artists such as Hyun Su Park of Charlie.K Art Space have created new works for Art Apart Fair 2014. This is an opportunity for emerging and mid-career artists to gain recognition on an international stage, and show their talent directly to a community of Asian art lovers and collectors in Singapore
