The Private Museum presents the first Kitakyushu Biennial in Singapore. featuring collaborations between internationally-established artists such as Charles Lim (Singapore), Federico Baronello (Italy). John Miller (USA), Marc Voge (USA). Mike Bode (Sweden). Talruji Kogo (Japan) and Young Hoe Chang (South Korea). the highlight is an international collaboration between artists Charles Lim and Takuji Kogo - Beaches. a new site specific multimedia installation piece about the borders of Singapore. part of their long term collaboration since 2005. there will be 3 changes of artworks throughout the duration of the exhibition.
The Kilairyushu Biennial is a bi-annual exhibition organized by the Art Institute Kitakyushu and directed by *CANDY FACTORY PROJECTS. a Japanese based platform for international collaborative multimedia based art projects curated by Tairuii Kogo.
