Three Singaporean abstract painters are brought together by One East Artspace to present an abstract paintings exhibition. For the first time, this fresh abstract combination will showcase color field paintings to action paintings that are created through artists’ spontaneous abstract movement. Artists innovate along with their signature style in the use of color, texture or brushstroke movement. Artist Kanchana’s artworks focus on the use of color and present interesting layers that bring depth to artwork. Artist Andy Yang’s artworks focus on texture and brushstroke movement that invite one into the euphoric state. Artist Yeo Shih Yun’s artworks display the use of traditional Chinese ink in a contemporary expression that emits energy.
