Tropical Lab brings together artworks created by postgraduate students from top institutions worldwide. This year’s theme, ‘Port of Call’, invites participants to explore ports as sites of intercultural and nautical imagining, as well as Singapore’s longstanding position as a hub of international trade. This experimental art lab is in its 8th edition and is the brainchild of LASALLE’s Senior Fellow Milenko Prvacki.
This year’s collaborating institutions include the Bandung Institute of Technology, China Central Academy of Fine Arts, California Institute of Arts, Columbia University School of the Arts, Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Nagoya University of Arts, Royal Academy of Arts, University of the Arts London and the University of Plymouth.
