Moving
Date: 3 Mar - 15 Mar 2009

'Moving' reflects on the nature of change. It is a transition through time and places, of evolving personal viewpoints, positions and postures. 'Moving' suggests a transformation or shift in perceptions, a re-ordering and adaptation to a new environment. The three artists will each install a series of work in The Substation Gallery for this exhibition.

Marisa Keller will present a printed and constructed landscape series that frame a journey through an imaginary territory of ideal reflection.
Kelly Reedy's new figurative collages layer cross-cultural images, artefacts and memories, blurring the lines of place and time.

Julia Roberts’ chequer board recollections of lush tropical gardens juxtaposed with B&W blinds reflect the stark contrasts and experiences of new environments.
