The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea (director Ching Hyung-Min) is pleased to announce the opening of MMCA Residency Goyang International Exchange Program Exhibition  'Andromeda.'

The exhibition title, 'Andromeda' is an allusion to Korean expression "like came from Andromeda", using commonly to point the one who looks unfamiliar. Artists from 6 institutions of 4 countries (Australia, Germany, France, New Zealand) reflect their new experiences of living in Korea as a strangers, which became an important starting point of the exhibition. Artworks in diverse genres, such as video, installation etc. create a unique visual language in effort to find ways to communicate with domestic audience.
