The Aleph Project
Artist(s): GROUP SHOW
Date: 12 Nov 2013 - 16 Mar 2014

A new form of art project that visualizes a sensibility of complexity and network theory with joy of intellectual exhibition actively adopted Complex Network Theory - a new theory concept for the 21st century - and has become a new form of art project that covers a wide range of areas through collaboration of theorists, curators, architects, designers, astronomers, physicists, new media artists, sound artists, directors, and performers as well as participation from the audience. 'Aleph' represents infinite space that resembles a little marble, which comes from a story of J.L. Borges. The intention of this exhibition is to embrace the curatorial inspirations which can describe a location from which all possible points of view of the universe are simultaneously visible. Therefore, the exhibition is organized to announce the advent of the new artistic platform. The MMCA Seoul will continue to organize a variety of projects with its exhibition galleries, media lab, multi-project hall, and theatre in order to try different artistic experiments, which will transform and make various kinds of genre exclusive for art.
