Since the 1990's, Gwangju Art Museum has developed along with a history of contemporary Korean art. Contemporary art reflects current social trends and cultural factors, such as advanced technology and visual media, urbanization, commercialized culture and arts, and fragmented cultural awareness. Through this exhibition, we will look at the history of contemporary Korean art for 20 years, and suggest the future of Korean art and development of art market in Gwangju. 

Meaning of the title 'Jin Tong'
'Jin Tong' means throes before completion of object, it represents a process of contemporary Korean art of today.
