The new works in this time are 'park' series, taken in the amusement park in Korea. At the beginning, he tried to approach to the artificial park as paradise. It was expected to catch a transforming park would be another approach to a symbol of the modern society, but since there is restriction, he had to take photos of one park, Everland only.
In 2011, the whole view of Everland makes us think about paradise or ever. It is not that far away, but in a hand. Lee's works are completed through a difficult process, such as long flying, taking photos according to searching coordinate, etc. Overcome difficulties make a wide view of surroundings and provide a familiar but strange experience as aesthetic record. And to visual culture researchers, it gives an issue of active discussion.
