The Museum of Photography is now exhibiting the 7th SPECRUM series 'Apartment' by Joong Won Choi. He has showed his capability of photography through 'passed landscape' series, and in this new series, he tells his unique eye for beauty, and his thoughts about photographs and objects. He has focused on ordinary scenes around us as his theme and in this time, Choi covers apartments, the typical residential environment and an indicator of wealthy in Korea. He started this work from one question 'How do initial apartments look like nowadays?'. Especially, the artist focused on independent or small-scale apartments, rather than apartment complex. Now they are just inurbane and old buildings and forgotten by people, but the traces of history themselves.
