Hyesook Yoo discovers herself in drawing, faces with a moment of her time and space becoming a history in process, and shows a result of it. Such attitude can be called 'process art' in terms of a process of creation and communication so that this term fully contains a meaning of drawing. The artist defines drawing as 'not a language created by common sense, but bringing another unique one to the world by an individual longing for freedom with intuition.' In this, her drawing can be another way of reason for body as well as integration of unconscious memory combined with action. The exhibition will provide a chance to meet various possibilities of drawing and experimental mind through her individuality and imaginative power. - Yoon Jeong Park (curator, SOMA)
