Analog Welcome, Digital Archive

Video art genre appeared for the first time after 1960s has been classified as a name of film, video, or media ar, but at present, it is called 'Moving Image' after a revolution of digital technology. This exhibition is an archive exhibition aiming for looking back a trend of video art, from the past to contemporary video works. 9 video art institutes from 8 countries, Germany, United States, Spain, UK, Japan, China, Korea and Hong Kong, are participated, and 30 video art works including archiving film of performance and installation, documentary, and video utilizing digital medium will be screening. As arranging a chance to meet video art archive from global art institutes, overflowing moving images and the tide of digital archive can be met in an analogue way.
