Nomadic View
Artist(s): GROUP SHOW
Date: 3 Apr - 25 May 2014

The original meaning of 'Nomadism' has been changed into people who are changed for extension of cogitation and field today. Thus, artwork proves altered thought and like the first nomad artist, Nam June Paik, the artists who form or extend fields of art can be recognized as the true nomadic artist. Nomadism today accepts changing technology so that the boundary becomes blurred as diversity is respected.

Nomadism in design is more meaningful when analyzing effect of design result rather than a designer's story. At the same time, development of digital technology makes design crossing real and virtual situations, using media. Ignoring a boundary between fields of design, the exhibition introduces design products and artworks related to nomadism and raises a question, how our life and attitude should be changed through them.

The exhibition focuses on a scenario brought from objects made by the artists and the designers. The audience will experience how creations stimulate our space, view and consciousness.
