In celebration of its 5th anniversary, Tokyo Photo 2013 will be held at Zōjō-ji, one of Tokyo's grandest temples. From September 27th through 30th, Asia's leading photography fair will be welcoming a top selection of galleries from the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Hundreds of works of photography will be showcased, from rare vintage prints to the latest digital masterpieces.

"Pictures from moving cars", featuring Daido Moriyama / Joel Meyerowitz / John Divola
The special exhibition 'Pictures from moving cars' curated by Simon Baker will be held at Tokyo Photo 2013. Daido Moriyama, who has held the two persons exhibition with William Klein at Tata Modern last year, one of representative American photographers as a pioneer of New Color Photography, Joel Meyerowitz, and John Divola, who takes a photo of the world between reality and invention will be participating. 

- William Klein "Tokyo" Exhibition
As a photographer, who has taken a city with own technique, a fashion photographer at Vogue, and a film director, William Klein has performed in a wide range of fields. The series in this exhibition, 'Tokyo', is an extension of the series of cities, New York, Rome and Moscow. Through wild, blurred or unstable screen composition, the series has showed the rapidly developing cities. After about 50 years of publishing the photo book in 1964, William Klein's photo series will be on display in Tokyo again. 

- Tomatsu Shomei Memorial Exhibition
Tokyo Photo 2013 will present the photo exhibition of Tomotsu Shomei, who died last year, to repeat his memory. After the war, he established the self-agency 'VIVO' with Ikkō Narahara and Eikoh Hosoe, and founded 'WORKSHOP photo school' with Daido Moriyama and Nobuyoshi Araki. For 60 years, Shomei led the photo industry in Japan and performed on a first-line. His representative photos expressed in his unique emotion under the social theme, such as U.S. army base, Nagasaki and Okinawa, will be on view.
